Matty Askin convincingly settled his local argument with Matthew Ellis as he won “the Battle of Blackpool” which was fought on neutral territory at Wigan. A superb right hand through Ellis’ guard ended the contest inside 2 minutes as he failed to make the count and left Askin delighted when he spoke to Hatton TV.
